We're All Mad Here

~Photographer: Lorenzo Agius

I am mad for all things Alice and I love to find new inspirations.

Visit Lorenzo Agius for more Alice themed photos under Fashion.

I adore all the characters in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll but I would have to pick the Mad Hatter as my favorite at this time in my life. With lines like these,

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"

"If you knew Time as well as I do," said the Hatter, "you wouldn't talk about wasting it. It's him."

he tends to sum up a part of my life these days, LOL.
Seriously, I feel a bit topsy-turvy and my time space continuum is all out of whack!
Wait, what day is it?

Who is your favorite character and why?

Don't forget you can always get your Alice on with dreamy jewelry from my Wonderland Dreams Shop. We all need a bit of wonderland to remind us to keep our eyes open for the magic throughout our days.

Marie Antoinette Masquerade

Finally framed and hung!

I fell in love with this print as soon as I laid my dark eyes on this beauty by Etsy seller strangeling (aka Jasmine Becket-Griffith).

The details in this are amazing which makes me only wish I could own the original painting.

Season 6 is still 3 weeks away [boo sniff]
but in the meantime, here is a nifty tribute vid of Janette Manrara
one of my season 5 favorites.  I still can't believe she was voted off before top 4!

Vacuity

My apologies for dropping off.

I blame:

1. workout/health mania

2. twitter's beguiling 140 character limit-o-fun

3. heat

4. summer

5. my fierce yearning for home ownership

6. bunnies

It's 92 degrees at 8 pm.

I think it's a heatwave starting at 70.
