I love those vintage bird cages. Something about the light whimsy of them. :) I always think of the 20's/30's style when I see those really ornate cages.
I am a birdcage collector.
I have one that my MIL hand carried on the plane from China.
I would love to take that black one, and re-create it as real life house.
The wall of birdcages is one we re-created for a friend's little girl's room but, with bird houses.
It was really sweet.
Then, my mother started making mosaic tile birdhouses that lead to a collection on the garden wall.
Wow, these are really beautiful! Have a super weekend.
